Second grade teacher Sharon Edwards saves the rainforest again! Her class of 1st and 2nd grade students raised over $400.00. They did so by making trailmix called "Tropical Trailmix". The trailmix had macadamia nuts, cashews, peanuts, chocolate chips, banana chips, coconut flakes, dried mango, pineapple and papaya. They sold it along with the "Rainforest Facts" bookmarks to the different classes at BMES.
They are doing their part to make sure the rainforest will be around for generations to come.
